With the aim of strengthening its global profile and promoting the internationalisation of its educational experience, Mundae International University has signed a new collaboration agreement with the University of Bordeaux.

Mundae has formalised its academic collaboration agreement with the University of Bordeaux, aimed at promoting the exchange of students from the Nursing Programme and thereby strengthening international cooperation between both institutions.

This agreement will allow Nursing students to undertake educational stays of up to one full academic year (two semesters) in Spain and France, encouraging the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices in the field of health sciences. The agreement is initially being implemented within higher education in Nursing, although it is expected to be extended to other areas of health sciences, such as Psychology.

The initiative aims to enrich participants’ academic and professional education by enabling them to develop skills in different healthcare environments and leading educational institutions. The University of Bordeaux is a public higher education institution founded in 1441 and consolidated under its current institutional structure in 2014, offering a comprehensive range of programmes in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology, Public Health, Dentistry, Biomedical Sciences, Law, Political Science, Economics and Management, Engineering, Science and Technology. Throughout its long history, it has consolidated its national and international reputation, ranking 494th in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and 64th in the QS Europe University Rankings – Western Europe, as well as placing in the 201–300 bracket of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking).

The signing of this agreement represents an important step in Mundae’s internationalisation strategy, reaffirming its commitment to high-quality education, academic mobility and the preparation of professionals capable of working in a global healthcare context.

Representatives from both institutions have highlighted that this collaboration will contribute to strengthening academic and cultural ties between the universities, while also creating new development opportunities for students and teaching staff.

Through this agreement, both universities reinforce their commitment to educational excellence and to training future nursing professionals with an international perspective, prepared to address the current and future challenges facing the healthcare sector.
